A little reassurance
Your maternity portrait questions, answered.
Separate photos, shared memories. Here’s what to expect, how to choose your photos, and where the experience stands today.
Do we need a photo together?
No. Us Before You is designed for couples with separate photos. The intended experience brings you together in maternity portraits, so an existing photo together is not required.
Can I see the portrait before paying?
The planned experience includes three free, watermarked previews before you choose portraits to keep. No card is needed for previews. The current demo uses illustrative sample portraits; personalized image generation is not connected yet.
Will it actually look like us?
Personalized portraits will be AI-generated interpretations of your uploaded photos, rather than photographs from a real photoshoot. Details and results may vary, and likeness is not guaranteed. The current demo shows sample portraits, not personalized customer results.
What photos work best?
Choose two to four clear, recent, well-lit photos of each person separately. Show the face clearly, without sunglasses, strong filters or anything covering it. Different angles are helpful. JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 15 MB each are accepted; HEIC files need conversion first.
What happens to our photos?
Source photos and generated portraits are stored privately and used to create portraits. They are not placed in a public gallery. Private gallery access and temporary download links protect access. You can request deletion from your private gallery; payment records may be retained under the configured policy. Read the privacy page for details.
How much does it cost?
Your first 3 previews are free and watermarked. Keep your first portrait for $19, then $10 for each additional portrait in the same purchase. One-time purchase. No subscription. These are the planned product prices; live purchases are disabled while generation uses demonstration samples.
Do we need an account?
No account is required to start. Progress is saved in a private portrait session. An email address is used for private gallery delivery when the workflow is ready.
Who can upload photos?
You must be an adult and have permission to upload photos of every person shown. Confirm the adult and photo-permission declaration before uploading.
